No additional fiber disturbances recorded after restoration.  Closing ticket.

Bypass install has restored services to Kelowna.  Optical levels have returned to normal.

A lumbermill 20km outside of Vernon had a fire impacting the pole supporting the fiber.  Fiber was extensively damaged.

Fiber provider will be working on bypass but site access is limited. 

No known time for repair available.

Fiber provider has assigned someone from fiber support to review Kamloops site activity yesterday.  We have reviewed fiber patch positions with the assigned individual.  Waiting on dispatch order for OTDR tech to shoot fiber at Kamloops CO.

No larger outage was identified by fiber provider.

We are in the queue for fiber tester dispatch tomorrow.

Carrier is still investigating.  System status has moved from low light to fiber down.

Light levels from Vernon into Kamloops have significantly dropped but not a fiber break.  No amplifier issues are present.

Fiber provider has been contacted for initial confirmation that no activity is being undertaken.  Confirmed, no personelle is on site working on this segment.

Opening ticket with fiber provider to investigate.

Kamloops - Kelowna is currently down.  Cause is unknown and being investigated.

The following 10G circuit is impacted:
KMLP2-KLWN1-01 (BCNET)
