The two 10G circuit were restored at 02:17:33 EDT, Mar 14. GigaPoP_NL is available to R&E network.

Construction work to repair the broken pole has been completed and the fiber has been placed. Splicing started at approx. 9:15pm Atlantic and our splicers are estimating about 5 hours to complete the repair. Though this may hampered by blizzard conditions in the area.

The repair work is going on with construction crew on site to replace the broken pole. The splicing work will start after the pole replacement. No ERT is given currently. Update will be sent out as soon as the info becomes available.

Fiber cut due to strong wind in the area of Port Aux Basques and South Branch, NL is suspected and the carrier provider is assessing the fiber route now. ERT is not available currently.
