The fiber was restored at 19:14:31 EDT, Aug 19. However, Our optical equipment went into lock-down state due to the fiber cut. Cold-restart has been performed to the amplifer cards between Kamloops and Vernon to restore the network services.

We are experiencing an outage between Vancouver and Calgary. The provider reports that there is an ongoing outage due to a fibre cut that has an ETR of 9PM EDT at the latest. Techs are already on site and repairing the damage.
