The 10G circuit Halifax-St. John's has been restored at 15:19:03 EDT, September 26. The 10G circuit Charlottetown - St. John's has also been stable since 13:43 EDT, September 26.

Currently, due to the impact of Hurricane Fiona, the 10G circuit Halifax to St. John's has been down since 04:48 ADT, September 24. There is another 10G circuit Charlottetown PEI to St, John's, NL that is providing connection for GigaPoP NL to CANARIE R&E network. However, the 10G circuit  Charlottetown PEI to St. John's has been flapping from time to time since September 24. If the circuit Charlottetown to St. John's goes down, the GigaPoP NL will not be available to the CANARIE R&E network.

CANARIE NOC has contacted the carrier provider for the situation. Update will be send out as soon as info becomes available.
