Affected services were successfully and circuit has been running error free. Site confirmed repair work has been concluded and personnelle are now hands off.
The onsite crew was able to expose / access the manhole and have provided an estimated time to repair of 3 hours.
Fiber break has been identified however the fault lies in a manhole that has been paved over. Field Personnel are on site working to expose the manhole. Efforts to expose the manhole are ongoing and fiber provider is exploring an option to migrate services to alternate fiber.
No known time to repair but fiber crew has been working on site for at least 3 hours attempting to access breakage point.
Our Montreal - New York (MOXY - MANLAN) circuit has been down since time noted above. We've had regional ice storms and there's currently a fiber outage between BridgeWater NJ and Stamford CT. Fiber provider is being contacted. No known repair time available at this time.
