The fibre repair work was finished at 12:11EDT, June 4th thus restoring services to a stable state.

The fibre cut was resolved and the ticket is closed.

Splicing is in progress. Services are expected to restore as splicing progresses.  The affected network services have been restored at 10:58 EDT.

The repair team is ready for fibre splicing which will started at 15:00UTC.

The repair work is going on, due to the complexities of the work space, no ETR is given currently. Updates will be sent out as soon as new info becomes available.

The provider's splice team has arrived onsite and preparations to the existing fibre at each splice location is underway as cable placement efforts continue. ETR is not available currently.

The fibre was damaged by local contraction work. The repair crew has identified the damaged fibre and started the repair. No ETR is given currently.

The provider's Field Operation team members are on-site to further isolate the damaged fiber. Update will be sent out as soon as info becomes available.

The provider NOC has identified a fibre fault and has dispatched Field Operations to the test site to light-level test the fibre and isolate the fibre damage. Update will be sent out as soon as info becomes available.

We observe optical network outage between Chicago and Toronto. Team is doing initial investigation right now. No RFO at this moment.
