We have updated the import policies for our CIRA peerings, and CANARIE is now accepting routes from CIRA. This change has been in effect for the past three hours. If you encounter any issues, please contact noc@canarie.ca.

Effective September 22, 2025, CANARIE will begin accepting routes through the BGP peering sessions with CIRA.

Accepting routes from CIRA will provide direct access to services hosted within CIRA’s Cloud 1 and Cloud 2, reducing latency and improving reliability.

No immediate action is required. All routing will be handled automatically.
