20251107-001The provider has fixed the fiber route issue for our optical fiber span Halifax-Elmsdale. The optical network in Halifax has been restored and back in service.
The fiber splicing has been done, however, our optical network in Halifax is experiencing an outage. The provider has been informed for the outage, further investigation is needed.
A fiber cut is detected in Halifax which is affecting the optical network between Moncton and Halifax. The 100G links between Fredericton and Halifax, Moncton and Halifax are being affected. The provider is working on the fiber repair and ETR is not given currently. Network traffic is being rerouted automatically.
