The fiber issue has been solved. The backbone link has been restored.

According to the provider's update,  there is a fiber service interruption in Calgary and surrounding area that is affecting the network services. The provider's repair team is working hard to resume the fiber service as soon as possible. Updates will be sent out as soon as info becomes available.

The backbone link Calgary-Edmonton is experiencing an outage. The reason is unknow and the provider has been contacted to investigate.  Network traffic between Calgary and Edmonton is rerouted automatically.
