Fiber is restored and backbone link is also up. 

Eastlink fiber crew is on site and found the fault location. A construction crew has been engaged, and they are on the way to the site. ETA 2 hour. Damage is due to Pole got burned.

The backbone link Halifax 1 - St.John's 1 is experiencing an outage. The reason is unknow and the provider has been contacted to investigate.  Network traffic between Halifax 1 and St.John's 1 is rerouted automatically. Ticket (229 8056) is open and circuit provider will update. No ETR yet.
